Hi friends 
It’s the new year, and finally time for a new screening with your favourite film club 

This time we’ll take you to Turkey with Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s 2014 film «Winter Sleep». Having won a Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, this thought-provoking, stunning piece of cinema is still relatively unfamiliar to most – high time to change that!

 Location
The screening will take place at Kulturbanken, a cozy space located in the heart of Bryne, just a 2-minute walk from the train station. Entrance from Meierigata.
They sell drinks (also alcoholic) and popcorn, so plenty of snacks to accompany you on this 3-hour journey through the Turkish winter

 Tickets
Tickets will be sold at the entrance.
The price is 40 NOK for all Opne Auge members.

If you’re not a member, we’ll be happy to sign you up when you get there. The membership fee is 60 NOK. This gives access to all our screenings this semester (and is also valid for all other film clubs within the Norwegian Federation of Film Societies).
